[arrl-odv:28286] Documents # 13 & # 18

Arrl-Odv, Attached are Reports from the E&E Committee and the Historical Committee. Drop me an email if you have any questions. 73, Rod, K0DAS

Hi Rod, “A Director, believing that rescinding the Code of Conduct at the January board meeting lifted the prohibition of directors filing such comments, filed formal comments to FCC Proceeding CG RM-11828 - ARRL’s Entry Level Licensing proposal. Later he realized it was a violation of board policy 2.2 and promptly notified E&E.” Just so we are clear, was this the reason (code of conduct) stated to the E&E by the director who made the comment? I ask because from what I understand that the policy 2.2 for board members not to comment on FCC proposals pre-dates the code of conduct. Therefore this wouldn’t even apply. Hi Ria, Yes, that was a reason stated to the E&E in this case. 73, Rod, K0DAS On Tue, Jul 9, 2019 at 10:40 AM rjairam@gmail.com <rjairam@gmail.com> wrote:

The method of duplicate documents referred to in the E&E recommendation is called executing in counterparts. If one of our legal eagles can confirm that, it might be appropriate to include such language. 73, Dick, N6AA On Tue, Jul 9, 2019 at 8:31 AM Rod Blocksome <rod.blocksome@gmail.com> wrote:
