Good Morning - We had anticipated the completion of the HR 1301 markup early this week. As of this writing, the mark-up is on hold. We have been informed by TKG that there is concern that another disruption may come in the House and would include committee meetings as well. As such, despite a work schedule that includes hearings this week, the mark-up is not listed in the upcoming schedule and there is no firm information as to when the House Commerce committee will conclude the mark-up. My thanks to all for finding and providing this information. I believe Rick K5UR, Brennan N4QX and Bill Morine N2COP will be attending. Kay N3KN may possibly attend. I regret I will be unable to attend, as I will not have coverage for my practice during those times. Dennis was a great mentor and friend to me. We spoke frequently, especially during his wife Rita's last few weeks. It is difficult for me to find the right words to say. I think someone referred to Dennis as the "Gentle Giant". That is such a perfect description of him.
