An ARRL member in California was referred to volunteer counsel after contacting us regarding an RFI complaint. The FCC has continued to follow up on a report of interference on 6 meters in California. Official Observers are checking out a complaint of interference to a net on 3905 kHz. A Southern Florida Official Observer received a thank you and explanation regarding an advisory that had been sent. Chuck Skolaut and Steve Ewald continued to handle morning code practice runs at W1AW this past week while Station Manager Joe was on vacation during the first week of July. They also served as fill-in tour guides for some visitors to Headquarters and host when the visitors wished to operated W1AW. The article that announces the 2013 Simulated Emergency Test was written turned into the editorial staff in preparation for September QST. October 5 and 6 is the main focal point weekend for this year's nationwide exercise.
