This will be the first in a series of meetings to determine our response to the FCC NPRM (Notice of Proposed Rule Making) on License Restructuring. We will be spending the day brainstorming some ideas and strategies, reviewing our current membership status, creating action plans and formulating recommendations to our Board. The issue of restructuring, that includes licensing requirements and the types of licenses, are critical to both the Amateur Radio Service and to us. We hope to come out of this first session with some solid ideas, plans and recommendations to move forward We'll keep everyone informed of our progress.
