Subject: Meeting Out of Building on Wednesday

Hi,

This Wednesday, August 24, many of the managers in the building will be attending a planning meeting at Dennis Motschenbacher’s house.  This will be the first in a series of meetings to determine our response to the FCC NPRM (Notice of Proposed Rule Making) on License Restructuring.

We will be spending the day brainstorming some ideas and strategies, reviewing our current membership status, creating action plans and formulating recommendations to our Board.  The issue of restructuring, that includes licensing requirements and the types of licenses, are critical to both the Amateur Radio Service and to us.

We hope to come out of this first session with some solid ideas, plans and recommendations to move forward

We’ll keep everyone informed of our progress.

If you have any specific ideas on this topic, please let me know and I will bring them to the group.

73,

Harold
