Please note that the rate in this note is $119, but the rate quoted on the reservation form is $134.28. Perhaps the difference is tax and such? However, when I'm traveling at my own expense, those rates are a bit out of reach (plus my wife who isn't at all interested in amateur radio would have a fit). If you're on a budget (as I am), there is a La Quinta about 1.3 miles from the convention center (which is walking distance for me) with Expedia rates of $49 per night and the rates are even lower if you have AAA or similar.
