John, Thanks for this. It has the expected bias of financial markets, comparing competitive trading to a bunch of old guys talking to their friends on the radio. It is a very basic article and misses the information that in addition to the 20 kW power level, they are requesting a number of established FCC standards (designed to prevent interference) be relaxed specifically for their purposes. So, what commercial interests use a power level >20 kW other than SW broadcast stations? It also does not mention the use of EMCOMM within the amateur radio service that would sound a bit more noble to their readership. I love the drum set and guitar reference, though!
