Hi, I certainly hope that everyone has arrived home safe and sound by now. That was quite an ice storm Sunday morning. At the meeting this weekend, a few of you mentioned that you might like some additional biographical information added to your Director listing on our website. This is not that simple to integrate into our current format, but it certainly can be done. If you are interested, please contact me directly. Harold, I assume that the listing you're talking about is the one at *http://www.arrl.org/divisions <http://www.arrl.org/divisions>* This gives the names of all Directors and Vice Directors, 3 different ways to contact them, and a link to their web site. At the Division web site, people have a chance to maintain any additional information they choose, without having to ask someone at HQ to make the change for them, and without having to conform to a format which might not meet their needs. This seems like an efficient solution to me. Adding information to the page on ARRL.org would actually decrease the control that individual Divisions have over how they present themselves to their members. I don't see the advantage of adding material to this location.
