Dear Officers, Directors and Vice Directors of the ARRL: Attached is the annual Conflict of Interest Policy and acknowledgement form for 2020 per ARRL Bylaw 45: 45. Conflict of Interest Policy f Annual Statements Each Board Member and Vice Director shall annually sign a statement which affirms that such person: (i) Has received a copy of the current conflict of interest policy set fo1ih in this Bylaw; (ii) Has read the Bylaw; (iii) Agrees to comply with the disclosure requirements; and (iv)Acknowledges that the League is a non-profit organization and that in order to maintain its federal tax exemption it must engage primarily in activities which accomplish one or more of its tax-exempt purposes. The failure of a Board Member or Vice Director to sign such statement on a timely basis will render that Board Member or Vice Director ineligible to serve or continue to serve. If you did not submit one for 2019 (this includes newly elected Board members) please do so before the January 17 meeting. You may email the signed page back to me or Dee, or hand it to either of us at this month's Board meeting. Please note that in addition to the by-law, as a non-profit entity we are required by the IRS to have a written Conflict of Interest policy which is reported on our 990 statement each year. I've attached both Word and PDF versions for your convenience. Please let me know if you have any questions. Respectfully, Carla [ARRL NAFAR Logo Color.png]Carla Pereira, KC1HSX Executive Manager ARRL Newington, CT 06111 860-594-0242 http://www.arrl.org/
