[arrl-odv:33665] Fwd: Changed Email Address Notification

Personify has Requested to change your Email Address from w7vo@comcast.net to w7vo@comcast.ne. If you have not authorized it, Please raise security alert

I received two such emails. One same as W7VO’S, (dropped the last “m” of the email address – which makes no sense) and one that asked me click on a link to confirm my personify email address. Both were sent at the same time, and both were flagged by gmail. Copies in attachment. I did receive two e-mails, and did click on the one to verify my native "comcast.net" e-mail address. The e-mail originated from "ARRL Identity Provider" (noreply@arrl.org mailto:noreply@arrl.org ), and seemed to be part of setting up the two-step authentication process. After I clicked on it I received a legit looking ARRL Personify page thanking me for confirming my e-mail address. Seems legit, but hope I'm not wrong... :-o 73; Mike W7VO

Yes, this is “normal” as they have worked through the problem They have discovered an issue with the interface to PoBox and are resolving it Thanks David From: arrl-odv <arrl-odv-bounces@reflector.arrl.org> On Behalf Of Michael Ritz Sent: Tuesday, April 19, 2022 4:52 PM To: arrl-odv <arrl-odv@reflector.arrl.org> Subject: [arrl-odv:33669] Re: Fwd: Changed Email Address Notification I did receive two e-mails, and did click on the one to verify my native "comcast.net" e-mail address. Thank you to the staff who got this fixed. Trust me when I say that I’ve been there with this kind of issue. 73 Ria N2RJ ________________________________ From: arrl-odv <arrl-odv-bounces@reflector.arrl.org> on behalf of Minster, David NA2AA (CEO) <dminster@arrl.org> Sent: Tuesday, April 19, 2022 5:41:18 PM To: Ritz, Mike, W7VO, (Dir, NW) <w7vo@comcast.net>; arrl-odv <arrl-odv@reflector.arrl.org> Subject: [arrl-odv:33670] Re: Fwd: Changed Email Address Notification Yes, this is “normal” as they have worked through the problem They have discovered an issue with the interface to PoBox and are resolving it Thanks David From: arrl-odv <arrl-odv-bounces@reflector.arrl.org> On Behalf Of Michael Ritz Sent: Tuesday, April 19, 2022 4:52 PM To: arrl-odv <arrl-odv@reflector.arrl.org> Subject: [arrl-odv:33669] Re: Fwd: Changed Email Address Notification I did receive two e-mails, and did click on the one to verify my native "comcast.net" e-mail address.
