[arrl-odv:27570] Upcoming IARU Region 3 Conference Issues

I read some recent comments concerning this agenda: IARU Region 3 Conference Documents are available to be read at http://iaru-r3.org/the-17th-triennial-conference-of-the-iaru-region-3-docume... Document 30 draws attention to the value of amateur radio spectrum to the commercial interest in the many ways to which our bands may be put to better use in serving more of the population. Documents 29 and 31 address the need to involve youth in our beloved amateur radio experiences, and how such early adoption has been demonstrated to be beneficial to the future lives of those who join our ranks. Perhaps we can find some use for this information. Please give them a look. Thank you. 73, Bob W6RGG

Bob: Thanks for pointing out a few of the important issues on the IARU Region 3 Conference agenda. President Roderick and I are representing ARRL at the conference. Additionally I will be participating in the IARU Administrative Conference (AC) Sept. 8 and 9, as part of the Region 2 delegation. Reports on the conferences and our participation will follow. Right I am trying to adjust to 15 hours in the air and a 10 hour time shift. 73, Jay, K0QB/HL Sent from my iPad
