Ballots were counted today in the Atlantic Division Director and Vice Director and the Great Lakes Division Vice Director elections, with Dakota Division Director Greg Widin, K0GW observing at the offices of Survey & Ballot Systems in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. The results are as follows: ATLANTIC DIVISION DIRECTOR Tom Abernethy, W3TOM 1400 Phil Theis, K3TUF 1168 Mr. Abernethy is declared elected. ATLANTIC DIVISION VICE DIRECTOR Scott Bauer, W2LC 470 Bob Famiglio, K3RF 1583 John Mueller, K2BT 503 Mr. Famiglio is declared elected. The count was conducted at ARRL Headquarters under the watchful eye of a representative of CohnReznick LLP, our independent auditors. The three tellers appointed by the Ethics & Elections Committee were Director Frenaye, CFO Shelley, and me. The voting results are as follows: NORTHWESTERN DIVISION DIRECTOR William Balzarini, KL7BB 654 James Pace, K7CEX 2190 Mr. Pace is declared elected. Thanks. I tried to sleep all morning but Dave woke me up. Looks like the voter turnout was better with the paper ballots this year than it was with the electronic ballot system we used for the previous three years. But, just a little better...
