The more detailed report on this needs to come sooner that later. Many comments on other social media this morning as well. Mark, HDX On Mon, Jan 20, 2020 at 9:55 AM Kristen A. McIntyre <kristen@alum.mit.edu> wrote:

Well, I don’t know how specific we can be. There is a BIG threat of litigation right now although from all indications, Howard and his wife just want to take a break and travel. Also consider that Dan was jockeying for a job at ARRL. Ria B2RJ On Mon, Jan 20, 2020 at 1:01 PM Mark J Tharp <kb7hdx@gmail.com> wrote:

Indeed, we need to be very careful answering questions on this one. 73 David A. Norris, K5UZ Director, Delta Division Sent from my iPhone

This is true. Nothing more than "his contract was not renewed" which is exactly what happened. As Ria stated, how much more specific can it be. Mark, HDX On Mon, Jan 20, 2020 at 11:11 AM David Norris <k5uz@icloud.com> wrote:

And just so we are clear - Dan means KB6NU. Ria N2RJ On Mon, Jan 20, 2020 at 1:49 PM rjairam@gmail.com <rjairam@gmail.com> wrote:

I think something forward-looking would be the best “official" response. Something about the expedient search for a replacement.

The fact is that, the way the vote is conducted, that all of us have our own reasons for voting the way that we did. There can be no official “why” because we made no collective statement. Each of us made a decision. The collective Board action is the result. It speaks for itself. If all our members read past minutes of Board and EC meetings, they should be able to understand the conclusion of the majority. This is why transparency is important. Speaking of transparency, was it ever publicized to the membership that the CEO was hired on a 1-year contract? Rod, K0DAS On Tue, Jan 21, 2020 at 6:27 AM Mickey Baker <fishflorida@gmail.com> wrote:
