I suppose at least some of you are familiar with the "sea water antenna." I just learned of it thanks to a fellow amateur who is a retired consulting radiotechololgy engineer. Guess I'm wrong! How about verticals or even simple directive arrays made of fairly narrow clear plastic tubing? Done properly, one could put these up and take them down in only several minutes?
