Dear Colleagues, Today's ARRL Letter will include the posting of the ARRLCEO Position. It is anticipated that the Officers, Directors andVice Directors will be actively participating in the process of solicitingapplications from the Amateur Radio community. Pleaseremember that we are dealing with a significantly sensitiveHR issue and that any submital of an application does engenderthe requirement for privacy in the handling of any informationprovided by the applicants. At a bare minimum all Board members should advisepotential candidates to submit their applications using the methods and manner mentioned in the job posting and thatall submission of applications must be done directly to the HR Professionals at Headquarters. Should any proceduralquestions arise in this process please advise anyone thatcontacts you with questions to contact Ms. Diane Middleton,W2DLM, at our Newington, Connecticut office. It is anticipated that all Board members will makean effort to encourage qualified candidates to make an application. As your part in this process the CEO SearchCommittee is requesting that we be able to track contactsmade by Board members with potential candidates. Whena contact is made with a potential candidate it is requestedthat you let the Search Committee know the identity of thatpotential candidate so that the Committee can track thatcandidate in the application process. It is requested thatall Board members send a short email to W9XA@arrl.orgwith the name and call of anyone you personally solicit or encourage to submit an application. The purpose of thetracking is to ensure that all applications are received andconsidered properly, and that none are overlooked or lostin the submital process. In that email please use the subjectline "CEO Search Candidate", a callsign and name is allthat we need to track the submission. All applications andother supporting information needs to be submitted directly to HQ. Please refer any potential candidate to the ARRL websiteat; http://www.arrl.org/employment-opportunities Thank you in advance for your efforts in aiding thisprocess. 73, Kermit Carlson W9XA
