Here is the bullet point paper that Mike Lisenco and I have been using most recently. What we went in with last week was a version of this on ARRL letterhead that TKG worked up and a copy of the discussion draft of the Bill. We can't use the discussion draft any longer and the text of the Bill is not yet formally available but it will be soon. 73, Chris W3KD On Fri, Jun 27, 2014 at 10:45 AM, Kay Craigie <n3kn@verizon.net> wrote:
As soon as Dave is back from Friedrichshafen next week we will confer with the Keelen Group to strategize and will also confer with Greg Walden and the subcommittee staff to learn how Walden wants us to proceed. It’s essential to be in tune with the Congressman’s wishes.
I imagine what we will do first off is to seek as many co-sponsors as possible from among the Representatives who are already ham-radio-friendly and any others with whom relationships already exist. Catch the easy fish first.
I have asked Chris to get us a talking points paper ready and distributed to the Board asap for use in contacting your Representatives. Also, as soon as Dan Henderson is back from F’hafen an informational bulletin for the grass roots will be prepared so we’ll have it when the time is right to send it out.
