Here is a public notice of a hearing being held on the Amateur Radio Parity Act on Tuesday before Representative Walden's subcommittee. We are concerned about possible opposition by ranking Minority member Anna Eshoo of California, even though Ms. Eshoo, in 2003, cosponsored a virtually identical bill introduced by Representative Steve Israel. We will not be testifying orally, but will submit written testimony. None of the listed witnesses are likely to testify about our Bill. In any case, also attached is our draft of written testimony, to be submitted over President Craigie's signature. This incorporates Kay's, Dave's, and Mike Lisenco's edits to earlier drafts I prepared. I think, perhaps immodestly, that the testimony reads pretty well as edited.
