If JP were to use Adobe Acrobat editor or a number of other tools, he could send out an electronically signable document that we could acknowledge online. When I managed a group of 60 people across the globe, there was no thought of actually getting people to sign something – e-signatures are legal across the US and EU and are MORE secure than pen-to-paper. This is a technology hobby. As a leadership organization, learn to use the latest technology and you’ll not have to print, sign, scan, etc. Sending out an e-sign document to us would save all the steps you identified. I’ve attached my signed document so you can see how Adobe does it. It only takes an Adobe Editor license on the originating party’s part.
