I received a e-mail from Chairman Hippisley of the EmComm/FS committee that they will not be holding a meeting at the January Board meeting. That leaves just the A&F and PSC for Standing Committee meetings on the Thursday, which I assume because of COVID restrictions will be at the hotel again. The question is: Can A&F and PSC share the same conference room at the hotel to save the League some money? I would be willing to hold the PSC in the afternoon Thursday, after lunch, if A&F can squeeze their fray into the morning time-frame, before lunch. (Or the other way around, if the A&F crowd would rather sleep in.) Will this work? 73; Mike W7VO

TL;DR - person claims Comcast (Xfinity) came and shut off their internet because they were supposedly causing interference to the cable system. If true this may be a bad precedent set. But it seems rather vindictive since cutting off internet service won’t solve the interference issues. My cable company when they were Service Electric had their upstream in the 15 meter band back when it was DOCSIS 2.0. They didn’t experience interference and neither did I. Altice USA has since bought them out. Is the lab on this already? I don’t know if Kristen is on this as yet. I’m forwarding this since one of my members here in NNJ seemed concerned.
