We understand your concern regarding sending/receiving emails from arrl.net. We apologize that you have had a negative experience with our customer support division. In addition, we apologize that you did not receive adequate support from our department. We are constantly attempting to strive towards our goal of providing the best service and customer support in the industry. Our engineers are working on the issue and soon it will be resolved. Your letter shows us that we need to take further steps in order to achieve this goal. We appreciate you taking the time to write us, and, once again, we do apologize for all of the inconvenience that you experienced. Thank you for your understanding. Original Message Follows: ------------------------- Mr. Kambhampati, Sir, thank you for finally replying to my inquiries. However, either you are being fed the same hogwash that others in the lower technical echelons of EarthLink have been fed, or you are an unmitigated preverecator. Either way, the blasé statement about "technical" difficulties being the reason for EarthLink's blocking of the arrl.net forwarding service do not hold water unless you consider the mismanagement of a well-intentioned, but misguided effort to block SPAM to be a technical reason. I thoroughly resent the very cavalier manner in which your organization attempts to cajole its customers into dropping their highly legitimate protests. What, indeed, is this technical reason to which you refer. I will appreciate it if you will forward my inquiry to someone further up your organizational ladder who knows what is going on. I What is the problem? I still have a problem. Even as a subscriber to EarthLink, I cannot receive mail sent to me via arrl.net and I cannot successfully send messages to persons I know personally via arrl.net. Why does this problem continue to exist? Do I need to change ISPs or will this problem be corrected promptly? As you know, there are other, suitable ISPs.
