When Wade W0EJ chaired the old Volunteer Resources Committee in 2003, the committee developed a proposal on mentoring (it's Document 19A of the January, 2004, Board book, if you still have that material). At Minute 36 of the January '04 meeting, the mentoring program designed by the VRC was adopted by vote of the Board. I thought that was great because the program sounded quite innovative and worthwhile. As far as I'm aware, only one part of this four-part program has been implemented in the 2 years since the motion was passed. It's the business-as-usual part of the program, too, not the three more creative parts. I'm not seeing any reference to the program in the PSC reports now. Whazzup? 73 - Kay N3KN
