[arrl-odv:13489] Re: Draft Agenda, 2006 Annual Board Meeting

Rick, Thursday evenings have been a good time to "let our hair down" informally, and it still is (and will continue to be). We went to the consent agenda concept in 2004 in order to allow more time to discuss important topics. As we all know, it has been a learning curve for us to move from our "old style" agenda, but we have a full plate at this meeting in that the IARU and WRC-07 report is very important as well and was previously scheduled for Thursday evening. Utilizing the consent agenda concept gives us the time during the meeting to hash out our ideas on band planning. In addition, some have expressed a desire to discuss this during the day when everyone's mind is more fresh and alert. You can still let your hair down during the meeting when this comes up! 73 Joel W5ZN -----Original Message----- From: k5ur@aol.com [mailto:k5ur@aol.com] Sent: Monday, January 09, 2006 3:06 PM To: arrl-odv Subject: [arrl-odv:13487] Re: Draft Agenda, 2006 Annual Board Meeting <<and one on WRC-07 by IARU President Price.>> Oh my..... we'll be there all night. (hi) I'm joking... I'm joking.... Seriously, the band planning issue is going to be a monster, and it would have been good to have had a Thursday night to let our hair down on that one. 73, K5UR
