[arrl-odv:33052] I'm off-line...

Just a note that it appears a Comcast server has again blacklisted my incoming ARRL e-mails, which is keeping me from receiving anything from the reflectors. I can apparently send messages, I just can't see replies. It's probably been that way for a couple of weeks now! If you have something to complain to me about, you'll have to send it to me directly for now. ;-) The IT staff at HQ is looking into it. 73; Mike W7VO

Sounds like you called out of turn and were put on the list...... (hi) Or, maybe it's a weak signal issue. My ISP Spectrum/Charter likewise began blacklisting me a couple of weeks ago. Luckily Director Hippisley alerted me to a missed Roanoke Division email blast. Jim Schaum at HQ is a delight to work with on these matters, but I feel it’s a continual game of whack-a-mole before the problem recurs. 73 de Bill Morine, N2COP Vice Director - Roanoke Division ARRL - the national association for Amateur Radio

I’ve been using GMail since 2004 as an early beta user. Sometimes they do blacklist ARRL but that’s life. I have my current ISP’s email (Altice/Optimum) and my old one (penteledata) as a forward. But I do not use them except for billing and service notices. I haven’t used ISP mail since NYC RoadRunner in 2003 and I think some ISPs don’t even offer them anymore. Bill Yes the Spectrum change a few weeks ago impacted many reflectors. The company that hosts the Minnesota Wireless Assn reflector contacted Spectrum to find they were trying something new to block the “bad guys”. They had lots of complaints and removed the change. They told my contact it will be a long time before they try that again due to all the issues they created. Well the good news is that Jim Schaum apparently has me back on line with ODV again, but he added my generic gmail account (mike.ritz1@gmail.com mailto:mike.ritz1@gmail.com ) to receive e-mails from ARRL, then I have Google forward them to my Comcast account. If Comcast comes back I'll have duplicate e-mails, but I'd rather have duplicates than zero! It appears that ALL of my ARRL reflector accounts were affected, he now has to add my new address to those accounts as well. I suspect I'll be fully on-line sometime tomorrow. I was wondering why everything was so quiet here, now I know.... ;-) 73; Mike W7VO
