[ARRL-ODV:9550] CITIZENS CORPS

I don't know about the rest of you, but I've been wondering how our involvement with the Citizens Corps will shake out. It looks as though we will find out fairly soon as you can see from the following note. It clearly looks as though things are beginning to move. I am in the process of scheduling the requested meeting and am discussing this with our SMs who I believe should participate as well. 73, Jim W. Rusty Groselle and I just returned from a Citizen Corps Council Regional meeting in Chicago last week and heard the announcement that ARRL had become an affiliate of Citizen Corps. As Co-Project Directors of the Ohio Citizen Corps, we would like to meet with you and explore opportunities to work together to make our neighborhood, our community and our state safer. Would you please let us know your availability as to when we might be able to meet. You can respond through email or phone (614) 995-1797. We look forward to hearing from you.
