Radio Amateurs of Canada President Geoff Bawden VE4BAW will be unable to attend our Board meeting this time around. The RAC intends to have a presence at our National Convention and is conserving resources to that end. President Bawden sent the following remarks to us. 73 - Kay N3KN ============================= Greetings to the Board, Executive and staff of the ARRL. While I am not here for this particular meeting I and a number of my RAC colleagues will be present for your 100th Birthday Celebration. The ARRL is to be congratulated on your contributions to amateur radio both now and over the 100 years of its existence and we look forward to help celebrating your anniversary. The key role that ARRL has played out over the past century of its existence cannot be underestimated. Amateur radio would be much weaker in the United States but also world wide save for the efforts and expertise of the ARRL.
