[arrl-odv:21575] Voting results on ARRL-NFCC MOU

I have received "aye" votes from all 15 Directors to authorize the President to sign the new MOU with NFCC. It took less than 17 hours for all of you to respond. That's a level of engagement that would cause other non-profits to be very envious. Thanks and congratulations. 73, David Sumner, K1ZZ Secretary

Directors: As someone who has responsibility for five different NFP Foundations with volunteer leadership, that level of engagement would be astounding and unprecedented. I would fall over in a dead faint if that happened here and my counterparts across the country would probably all say the same thing. Thank you for your dedication to our hobby. This beats the fastest complete vote by the Correspondence Chess League of America's board by an order of magnitude. 73, Brennan Price, Director, Corresondence Chess League of America -----Original Message----- From: arrl-odv-bounces@reflector.arrl.org on behalf of Niswander, Rick Sent: Tue 2/26/2013 9:02 AM To: Sumner, Dave, K1ZZ; arrl-odv Subject: [arrl-odv:21576] Re: Voting results on ARRL-NFCC MOU Directors: As someone who has responsibility for five different NFP Foundations with volunteer leadership, that level of engagement would be astounding and unprecedented. Rick and Brennan,
From your experience with other organizations, would you then conclude that we are zealots?

"Zealot" has such a negative connotation. I prefer "focused" or "highly engaged" or "dedicated."
