We remind prospective and renewing members it costs 13¢ per day to belong to ARRL. Correct Bill, As I told everyone in the ARRL Forum Saturday at Slidell, LA - it costs 13.42 cents a day to join the ARRL. I put up the membership numbers going back several months up on my PP presentation. Also, I have resurrected K5UR’s old graph (I use Excel). The curve has more of a visual impact than the straight numbers or even the percentages. Mickey makes a great point of the need for interfacing with the VE teams and clubs. We are looking at that very topic in the Clubs Subcommittee at EC-FSC. I’d like to emphasize to our VE teams and clubs the importance of recruiting the new amateur into our great organization. 73 David A. Norris, K5UZ Director, Delta Division Sent from my iPhone

Hi, Rick,
We’re having good response at hamfests.
I am under the impression that member “mood” and attitude toward the ARRL is at one of the highest points that I can recall. I credit David Minster it proving that the RIGHT CEO can make a difference.
I start every presentation with a brief overview of what the ARRL does and how ALL amateurs benefit from ARRL efforts. I identify non-members and ask why they’re not members. “Cost” says the guy holding a $100 Comet antenna.

Hi all:
