[arrl-odv:12037] Re: Dayton Registration

Its not a matter of price, Jim. If I had a nickel for every time I blew 20 bucks I'd be rich (don't try to add that up!!! hi hi) It is about policies and procedures for our conventions, at least that is the way I view it. 73 Joel W5ZN -----Original Message----- From: Jim K8JE [mailto:K8JE@arrl.org] Sent: Friday, April 01, 2005 10:17 PM To: arrl-odv Subject: [arrl-odv:12035] Re: Dayton Registration Greg and all, I can't say at this time if everyone who is going to Dayton will receive comp. tickets. I'm working on this with Gary DesCombes, Hamvention Chairman. I asked about this after the DARA meeting tonight. He wanted to think about how to make this happen and said they would give a highly discounted price if nothing else. I should learn more at the coming Hamvention meeting. In the meantime, he and I will shuffle information between us by E-mail or phone. My Vice Director, Jim Fenstermaker, K9JF, will also be attending this year. I also assumed he will be comp. It is our National after all. It has been a while since I was the head of the committee that held a National (1988 in Portland) but I remember that all the Board family were comped for registration. 73/Greg W7OZ
