In accordance with Article 7, President Haynie has appointed Richard J. Mondro, W8FQT, of Dearborn Heights, Michigan, to fill the vacant position of Vice Director of the Great Lakes Division, effective immediately. Dick's term of office expires at noon on January 1, 2003. His eligibility has been certified by the Election Committee in accordance with Bylaw 44. Dick is presently serving as Section Manager for Michigan but is stepping down from that position. A successor will be named shortly. David Sumner, K1ZZ Secretary
