Allen Pitts has been overwhelmed with media inquires during the past few days and there will many other amateur radio stories appearing in other media. Allen and I will try to keep everyone updated on the more significant media coverage. A group of us have also been meeting to coordinate our assistance and response to Katrina as well. We have been receiving lots of emails, phone call and other communication from ARES members and the amateur radio community about Katrina. We are setting up some additional internal systems and external communications to handle the volume of requests and to coordinate them in an efficient and appropriate manner. 73, Harold, WJ1B
