[arrl-odv:33574] Dutch Court charges solaredge for RFI

https://uitspraken-rechtspraak-nl.translate.goog/inziendocument?id=ECLI:NL:R... It's in Dutch but that's a google translate link. Basically solaredge optimizers were so bad they were wiping out a government comms system on 385MHz. They of course appealed. Optimizers are basically DC to DC converters designed to combat shading in solar arrays. They may also incorporate module level rapid shutdown as required by recent NEC revisions in the USA for firefighter safety. In the USA, the current part 15 regs are unable to do anything about some of this interference and by all accounts it's only getting worse. This should really be one of our regulatory priorities, IMO, as it will cause more problems as more and more solar goes online. 73 Ria N2RJ
