Right, Tom. Reps. Jackson-Lee and Thompson haven't abandoned us just because Senator Lieberman was the sponsor of S.1755 -- it's just a matter of the right people jumping through the right parliamentary hoops at the right time. This is an area where John is clearly an expert. I just stopped throwing darts at my Liberman dart board here and read your message and the one from Dave. I must confess that I had been thinking today that it is currently probably not a good thing to have a bill in the house with Lieberman's name on it. I think Dave has fingered the problem. I may wear out the dart board over the holiday period but that may not solve our problem with our senate sponsor in the Democratic House..
The good news is that once the Senate passed the bill, it became policy that all Senators support. That's how our own Board decisions work. So, every Senator is a supporter, any one can help us. So I think the next step is to see who can we get to step forward and work on it with the House? -- Tom ===== e-mail: k1ki@arrl.org ARRL New England Division Director http://www.arrl.org/ Tom Frenaye, K1KI, P O Box J, West Suffield CT 06093 Phone: 860-668-5444
