[arrl-odv:22759] Help Needed at HQ at W1AW during the Convention.

Hi, We are looking any Board Members who would like to volunteer for the following assignments at the National Centennial Convention here at HQ and W1AW. We believe that Board Members would be knowledgeable about these topics and might specifically be interested in these areas: 1. Lab Exhibit Tour Guide - we need some volunteers here at HQ in the Lab's Exhibit area to talk to visitors about the vintage equipment in the exhibit area. This is one of the most popular areas of our regular tour and visitors always have lots of questions so you should have some knowledge of this type of gear. 2. Moderator of the Video presentation in the Conference Room here at HQ. We plan to run the Centennial video every half hour in the Conference Room (seating will be reconfigured) so we need a volunteer to introduce the video, start the presentation, answer questions about the video and the ARRL, and move people in out of the room. Buses will be available between the Convention Center and HQ so you would not need to drive back and forth. Food will be available for all volunteers! We need volunteers on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Shifts are from 9:00am to 12:30pm and/or 12:30pm to 4:00pm. About 700 people have signed up for the tours already, so we should be very busy here at HQ! Please let me know if you are interested or have any questions. Thanks in advance for your help. 73, Harold Harold Kramer, WJ1B Chief Operating Officer ARRL -the national association for Amateur Radio 225 Main Street Newington, CT 06111 (860) 594 -0220 www.arrl.org<http://www.arrl.org>
