I wonder how Bobby Burns would have reacted to the following statement I recently received indirectly? It was part of a much larger letter from a still-current, non-GLD member. Is there a some sort of legitimate basis the writer's feelings? Can all of the similar feelings toward us be dismissed as being totally off base? "As a former Section Manager and a Life Member I have felt betrayed by ARRL actions, propopsals and responses for several years now. It just keeps getting worse!" I suspect Bobby B might have said something such as The Best Laid Plans of Mouse and Man Oft-time go awry." (OK, one of you Burns scholars, give me the proper quote, please.)
