[arrl-odv:34388] ARRL Voicemail Message

With all the discussion about the “ARRLVoicemail” issue a couple of days ago, I decided to find out what was going on with these messages so I followed up with a phone call to the number provided. Surprisingly, I was greeted with a Holiday message from David Minster and then treated to a medley of 4 or 5 Christmas songs being sung by David, Diane Middleton and a couple of other people whose voices I could not identify. They were accompanied by someone on a Christmas kazoo who was pretty proficient with the instrument and only missed a few notes as far as my tin ear could tell. It was really quite nice. I would like to know who it was with a husky voice in the background who kept singing “Ho, Ho, Ho” between songs. Put me in a Christmas mood!! 73, Rod From: Arrl Voice Mail <w6rod@arrl.org> Date: Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 3:53 AM To: w6rod@arrl.org <W6ROD@ARRL.ORG> Subject: Voicemail Message (Mercy Bria> W6rod ) From:(165-655-6114) Dear W6rod, You received a new message in your Arrl Cloud Voice voicemail box. Rod, Awesome joke - It's great to think that someone actually thinks I can sing. Have a great holiday everyone. I notice it also asks to "dail" the number. Voicemail Retrieval Number: Dail 351-403-5994 It's sad how many fall for these things. Especially when they continue to get more creative. Mark, HDX FYI Diane, America's got talent has open auditions currently. https://americasgottalentauditions.com/ On Wed, Dec 21, 2022 at 12:50 PM Middleton, Diane, W2DLM (CFO) < dmiddleton@arrl.org> wrote:
