This is to give you an update on the business status of MFJ. I do not believe that any of this is confidential but it is sensitive since it is just happening and it is Martin's story to tell his customers and consumers. We should not be communicating this outside of ODV with respect to Martin. Yesterday afternoon rumors began circulating through the industry that MFJ had communicated to employees that it was closing its doors. That's not exactly true. We've been in touch with Martin to understand what their status is and to offer them any help, especially on communications, that we can. Martin took the decision yesterday to move all of his manufacturing out of his facility in Starkville. The facility will continue to handle sales, support, and service. They are not going out of business. They are taking steps to help their affected employees find other employment and give them as soft a landing as possible. We have offered to Martin that we can put out a clarifying story in the ARRL Letter tomorrow if he'd like to avail himself of the opportunity. That's basically what we know. There is no indication that this will affect their sales or their ability to pay for their advertising with ARRL. Thanks. David
