Nope...that was why I started the email with "FYI". I know Fred personally, but have not seen him for about 5 years. In fact, this year at Field Day, my old Novice buddy WB5FDP and I were running the CW station and Fred's name came up. Fred used to work the CW station with us, but neither of us had heard from Fred in about 5 years after he took an early retirement from a company in Little Rock. In all of my conversations with Fred, I did not know he was a veteran nor did I know he had any connection with John Kerry. I was surprised to see him introduced last night.
