Hi All and HNY! Many of you ask me how Judy is doing from time to time so I thought I would share this with you. I nearly lost her Sunday. She had been complaining with shortness of breath and being weak so after church Sunday, I took her to the Mercy Health Hospital in OKC. She was diagnosed with congestive heart failure with a heart rate of 120 beats per minute and extremely high blood pressure. It took them over five hours of trying every thing in their bag of tricks before they were able to get her heart to convert to sinus rhythm and her blood pressure back to tolerable. She is still in the hospital undergoing a study to see if she can tolerate a new drug they have available for her heart electrical problems. If that doesn't work, they plan to do a procedure where they deaden some of the heart nerves. Her heart doctor said that she couldn't afford to go through another session like this.
