In the Bonus Section "Inside Business" in the May 3, 2004 issue of Time Magazine, you will find a two page article named Power Play written by Maryanne Murray Buechner - who lives in Manassas, Virginia.

It's nothing more than another version of FCC Commissioner Kathleen Abernathy's "broadband nirvana" except there is absolutely no mention of any of the technical and economic down-sides to BPL. At the risk of increasing the magazine's sales this week, I urge all of you to buy a copy and read this article as it will be used as the basis for supporting BPL by the ignorant general public and hordes of local government officials.
