According to Mary Hobart K1MMH, many Officers, Directors, and Vice Directors have already donated to the League in 2010, and that's sincerely appreciated. However, about a dozen of us have not donated yet in 2010. As we prepare to launch the Second Century Campaign, achieving 100% Board participation is extremely important. Of course the non-financial contributions you make are way beyond what the typical member does for the League. However, major donors and other funding sources expect that 100% of our Officers, Directors, and Vice Directors are financial donors. It's generally true in the non-profit world that members of boards are donors. When I encourage members to respond to ARRL fund drives, I like being able to tell them I have already put my money where my mouth is. I don't know who the people are who have not donated yet. I do not know, will not know, do not want to know, and really do not care how much anyone gives. That's private between you and Mary Hobart.
