We have discussed over the past few months the notion of expanding ARRL's reach from print to the new media modes including video-casting. Last year's special event at the Mark Twain House in Hartford, celebrating Twain's 181st birthday was captured by an ARRL videographer who assembled this brief promotional report on W1T, the special event station. Conversations with MTH manager, Betsy Maguire touched on Twain's admiration of technology as well as his friendship with Nicola Tesla. This quality video, distributed through ARRL's YouTube channel, is an example of what can be produced for the League by local university student talent at very low cost.
