Around Field Day time there was an excellent front-page article in the Charlottesville, VA, newspaper about ham radio and the local club, featuring an interview with past president Harry Dannals W2HD, age 81. As a fellow transplant to Virginia, I dropped Harry a note complimenting the article, and he telephoned me earlier this week in response. He seems to have fully recovered from heart by-pass surgery a few years ago and sounds like the same Harry many of us knew from way back when -- cheerful, talks a blue streak, etc. He asked me to pass along his regards to the Board. 73 - Kay N3KN
