The Logbook of the World system went back online this morning as expected. The server has been extremely busy with people setting up their accounts and exploring the new features. At times response is a bit sluggish because of the activity, but traffic should start to ease in a day or so after the initial pulse. Jon Bloom, Wayne Mills and Dave Patton are working hard to keep up with the activity and answer questions. As of a few minutes ago, there are already seven DXCC applications via LoTW. One is from a ham who has no existing DXCC award and claimed nearly 300 LoTW credits. He had enough LoTW confirmations to get a brand new Mixed DXCC (100 different countries confirmed in LoTW) and is well on his way to some of the other awards. 73, Mark K1RO
