8 MAR 2008 - 1348 CDT I'm in total agreement with Jay Bellows' message about Yaesu's sponsorship of LoTW. I would also like to know what Yaesu is paying us. I'll bet it is not even close to half of what we have spent on LoTW. In fact, I wonder if there was any consideration of payment for our development cost? I don't like it, and I'm glad the contract is only for one year. I still believe the original business model is sound (payment for DXCC credits) even though it has taken us a long time to get to this point with LoTW. It will pay off faster if and when we start expanding LoTW's use to include other ARRL and non-ARRL operating award programs. Do we really need to sell banner advertising on LoTW? - Dick, W9GIG
