[ARRL-ODV:7646] Re: Minutes on paper

It sounds reasonable to me. The fewer pieces of paper floating around the better from a security view. I think it would be consistent with the direction things are going to make the July 2002 Board meeting the last for which we make the mailing, except in response to a request. Sometimes you can really tell that Dave has been on vacation. Opens up a whole new dimension in his e-mail messages. I like it. I have to say that I do like the paper copy of the minutes, and appreciated getting it, despite my mania for electronic stuff. Already used it once since it was more convenient to refer to than the electronic version - and I was responding to an e-mail message at the time. In cutting the "chains" of paper Board minutes, is it just the Board we will be severing ties to, or does that mean Section Managers and others will not get them on paper now? I seem to recall that Assistant Directors used to get them on paper also. I'm not necessarily opposed, just want to make sure I know what is planned. -- Tom ===== e-mail: k1ki@arrl.org ARRL New England Division Director http://www.arrl.org/ Tom Frenaye, K1KI, P O Box J, West Suffield CT 06093 Phone: 860-668-5444 --- Incoming mail is certified Virus Free.
