Good Morning everyone! While neither Jim nor I have drown yet in the Texas rains, apparently Coy and Judy have become an Eskimos. Somewhat quite literally. Coy reports this morning that the Oklahoma ice storms have pelted him badly and will take him out of commission on the ODV and off the radio for a while. It is expected that he and Judy will be without electric power for a least a week. He is now trying to get to his auxiliary generator but, it will take him sometime as it isn't immediately handy and it too is probably frozen. All of his (brand new) antennas have snapped and are on the ground. Coy is hoping to at least have 2-meters once he gets the car unthawed...this is of course, if Judy doesn't immediately commandeer the car and make a run for someplace that has heat. As for now though, the good news is that despite his home being an igloo, in true Coy fashion, he was smiling and laughing when we spoke this morning. We will keep you posted if we hear any more.
