I'm all for openness. I also think it is appropriate to give staff a reasonable period of time to resolve the problem. Frankly, the only place I have heard about the problem is on the reflector. So far as I can tell from the comments thus far there has been some delay in issuing or reissuing LoTW certificates but no one has been harmed. Unless there is reason to think the fix is going to take some time it seems reasonable to wait for the fix to make a public announcement. It doesn't seem to be a big or pressing issue with the members. Lets not make it bigger than it is.
