This is to inform you of the implementation of a project that will take the ARRL's e-mail list server off-line for about 4 hours tomorrow night. The server that supports all the ARRL e-mail lists (LYRIS) will be off-line from 1:00 am (EDT) Saturday morning until roughly 5:00am (EDT) Saturday. During this time the server will be relocated from HQ to our ISP's facility in New London, CT. This change will allow us to have 24x7 engineering support for this server that has become an increasingly important communication link for the organization. It will also allow messages to be delivered to list participants (other than HQ addresses) in the event that there would be a disruption in our Internet connection or power service in Newington.
