[arrl-odv:28172] FW: Volunteer-Monitor email fixed (i hope!)

Just received this from IT. Dan Henderson, N1ND Assistant Secretary - American Radio Relay League, Inc. Regulatory Information Manager ARRL, the national association for Amateur Radio 860-594-0236 dhenderson@arrl.org<mailto:dhenderson@arrl.org> From: Distefano, Dave Sent: Thursday, May 16, 2019 9:23 AM To: Hollingsworth, Riley K4ZDH <rilepatholling@comcast.net>; Carlson, Kermit, W9XA (Dir, CL) <W9XA@yahoo.com> Cc: Henderson, Dan N1ND <dhenderson@arrl.org>; Michel, Howard, WB2ITX (CEO) <wb2itx@arrl.org>; Keane, Michael, K1MK <mkeane@arrl.org>; Fusaro, Norm W3IZ <w3iz@arrl.org>; Ewald, Steve, WV1X <wv1x@arrl.org> Subject: Volunteer-Monitor email fixed (i hope!) All, I think I've gotten to the bottom of what is going on here. I either mis-read the bounce information that Riley sent me last night, or there are (were) two things going on. My apologies there. But the additional information Riley provided let me zero in on what was happening. Thank you for the quick turn around on that information! If it's what I think it is, I was bitten by a new Distribution List "feature" in the new email setup. When creating a new distribution list it silently defaults to "accept from internal senders only". That's where it was failing for external submissions only. I thought I tested both internal and external submissions when I set it up, as is standard procedure, but can't swear to doing both after I made a DL modification late yesterday afternoon. Anyway, this has been fixed and I submitted a test from my gmail account with PDF attachment which seems to have been successfully delivered. The subject line for the successful test message is" Test Application Submission 2 0809". Norm and/or Steve can you verify that you see that test message in your view of the Volunteer-Monitor mailbox in your Outlook program on your HQ machines? Dan and Riley please verify that you received copies of that message in your Inboxes. I will continue to monitor this mail address. Please let me know if any new reports of problems are received.
