Good Evening ODV - We are coming down to the wire on H.R. 1301 (S.253). In the current email campaign which started last week, nearly 33,000 emails have been sent to the Senate. Yesterday, we began a call-in campaign asking the membership in Florida to call Senator Nelson’s office in both D.C. and their local office. We have no way of telling who of the 7,000+ members have telephoned, but we are getting some feedback from the members. The Keelen Group is working to get Chris and myself meetings with the sponsoring Senators next week to try to shake this thing loose. We are also trying to get into Mr. Nelson’s office as well. We have, at most, three work weeks left to the 114th Congress.
